We are excited for another fun day in St. Johns with the St. Johns Parade and St. Johns Bizarre on Saturday, May 9, 2026!

If you have not joined us for this special event before, it is not to be missed! Each year we join together as a community, all dress in our Montessori House shirts, decorate our bikes, strollers, and wagons with streamers and signs, and stroll down the streets of St. Johns as we participate in the parade. At the end of the route, we take a moment at the St. Johns Community Center to take a group photo before heading out to see the amazing offerings of the Bizarre!

We are going to repeat our idea from past years and organize ourselves in colored t-shirts to create a human rainbow. We will meet in front of Roosevelt High School, near the corner of N Burr and Central streets, on May 9th at 11:45am to march in the parade.

Join us for our annual Earth Day Celebration with fun family activities including a bouncy house, fun activities, t-shirt and tote bag block printing, an alumni craft fair, children’s art exhibit, and a silent auction! Montessori House preschool students will also put on a musical performance at 11:30am in the sanctuary.
