Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a teacher. I believe that working with children is not only the greatest job one can have, but also one of the most important and rewarding. I believe that all children need a supporting, loving environment that offers them ample opportunities to explore and create. My goal is to help provide that type of environment for your child. I look forward getting to know your child and to assisting them along their path of natural development.
A little about myself: My husband, Dallas, and I came to Portland in July of 2010 so I could take the Montessori training at the Montessori Institute Northwest. I grew up in Arkansas and love being outdoors. Some of my interests and hobbies include yoga, knitting, juggling, trail running and reading. I love living in the Pacific Northwest and look forward to being part of the St. Johns community!
